Baitadi: A person died in a bus accident at Melauli in Baitadi on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Umesh Bhandari, a resident of Pancheswor Rural Municipality-6.
The accident has left 39 people injured, according to DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi of Baitadi District Police. “The ill-fated bus with registration number Lu 2 Kha 2011 en route to Mahendranagar from Kulau plunged some 400 meters off the road at 1 pm today.”
