Kathmandu: A Manang Air chopper with six people onboard crashed in Solukhumbu district.
The chopper carrying five Mexican citizens and one pilot met with accident in bordering area of Solududhkunda Municipality and Likhupikhe Rural Municipality.
The helicopter, operated by Manang Air, took off earlier today from Kathmandu to Solukhumbu district at 10:00 am today.The helicopter went out of contact 12 minutes after the takeoff.
The Solukhumbu District Police Office, in collaboration with the Nepalese Army and other local agencies, is coordinating the search efforts.
