Six die in chopper crash in Solukhumbu

Of the deceased, one is Nepali national, while five are Mexican citizens.

Kathmandu: All the six people on board the Manang air chopper that crashed in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday have died.

The bodies of them have been recovered from the crash site, confirmed Solukhumbu District Administration Office. The deceased include the pilot, a Nepali national, and five Mexican citizens. 

The helicopter, operated by Manang Air, took off earlier today from Kathmandu to Solukhumbu district at 9:52 am today. The helicopter had gone out of contact 12 minutes after the takeoff.
