Kathmandu: Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, passed away at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.
Dahal, who had been suffering from a complex form of Parkinson’s disease for a long time, was admitted to the hospital earlier today. Dahal passed away at 8:33 am, according to a source at Norvic Hospital.
According to Prime Minister Dahal’s secretariat, Dahal’s body will be kept at the party central office Parisdanda from 11 am to 1 pm to pay the final tributes. The funeral rites will be held at Pashupati Aryaghat at 2 pm.
