Chitwan: The Narayanghat-Muglin road section was blocked by a devastating landslide near Kalikhola of Ichchha Kamana Rural Municipality-6 in Chitwan on Sunday.
The landslide occurred at 9:00 am, according to DSP Bijay Raj Pandit, spokesperson of Chitwan District Police.
“The landslide has caused significant damage to the highway, making it impassable for vehicular traffic. Despite ongoing efforts to clear the debris and restore traffic, subsequent landslides are occurring in the area,” he said.
The Narayanghat-Mugling road section has been plagued by frequent disruptions caused by landslides, creating persistent challenges for travelers and authorities.
