Seven, including six Indians, killed in bus accident in Bara

Bara: The death toll from the bus accident that took place near the Churiyamai temple of Jitpur Simara sub-metropolis-22 in Bara in the wee hours today has reached seven. 

District Police, Bara’s spokesperson Dadhiram Neupane said, of the dead, three died on the spot while four succumbed to injuries in the course of treatment. 
According to police, the deceased are identified as Bijay Lal Pundit,41 of Loharpatti, Mahottari; Bahadur Singh, 67, Mira Devi Singh, 65, Satyawati Singh, 60, Rajendra Chaturvedi, 70, Shreekant Chaturvedi, 65, and Baijanti Devi, 67 from Rajasthan, India.

The bus (Madhesh Province 3001 Kha 7994) en route to Janakpur from Kathmandu veered off the road and fell around 15 meters at 2:00 am today. Three Nepali and 14 Indian citizens have been injured in the accident. They were heading to Janakpur after visiting the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.
