Nepal faces Pakistan in historic Asia Cup debut

Kathmandu: Nepal is set to make their debut appearance in the Asia Cup as the Rhinos are playing against the cricketing giants Pakistan today.

The inaugural match of the 16th Asia Cup is taking place between Nepal and Pakistan at Multan Cricket Stadium of Pakistan at 3.15 pm. 

The 50-over format will be Nepal’s first meeting against the number one ODI nation in any format of the game. Nepal qualified for the tournament as the champions of the ACC Premier Cup in April and May, and are in Group ‘A’ with cricket powerhouse Pakistan and India. The other group comprises Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
