Govt reappoints Krishna Hari Pushkar as Finance Secretary 

Kathmandu: The government has reappointed Krishna Hari Pushkar as the finance secretary at the Ministry of Finance. 

As part of the reshuffle, incumbent finance secretary Arjun Prasad Pokharel has been transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers. Earlier, Arjun Prasad Pokharel took on the role of Finance Secretary on May 3, 2023. 

Pushkar previously held this post starting from August 11, 2022. Pushkar had earlier been transferred from his role as Secretary of the Ministry of Finance to the Prime Minister’s Office on January 5, 2023, after which he assumed the position of Secretary in the Ministry of General Administration.
