Kathmandu: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has extended congratulations to the Nepali people on the occasion of Constitution Day that is being celebrated across the country today.

In his message of best wishes delivered on the occasion of Nepal’s Constitution Day, Blinken has said the constitution day is a special day. “On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my warmest congratulations to the people of Nepal on the occasion of Nepal’s Constitution Day on September 20,” Blinken said in a statement issued on Tuesday. “This is a moment to recognize Nepal’s achievements and the enduring friendship between our nations.” He also appreciated the people-to-people ties, fostering understanding, trust, and goodwill between the two countries. “As we commemorate this special day, we look to renew our commitment to these invaluable connections that promote peace, cooperation, and mutual prosperity between our two nations. On behalf of the people and the Government of the United States of America, I warmly extend my best wishes to all Nepalis on this special occasion.”
