Kathmandu: The application period for the 2025 Diversity Visa (DV) program opened at 9:45 PM Nepal time (Ashwin 17) on Thursday, the US embassy in Kathmandu informed. The application period closes at 10:45 PM Nepal time on November 7 (Kartik 21). “We strongly encourage DV program entrants to apply early,” the statement released by the embassy said.
The US embassy has recommended against using a consultant to assist applicant with application. “Please consider using a family member, friend or other trusted person if you need assistance. No matter who provides assistance, you are solely responsible for your own application,” the statement says.
Thousands of Nepalis apply for DV program every year.
