Kathmandu: Dr Danielle Meuwly, Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, presented her Letter of Credence to President Ramchandra Paudel in a formal ceremony at Shital Niwas. During the cordial exchange, the Ambassador reiterated to President Switzerland’s commitment to strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Alongside Switzerland’s ongoing development cooperation with Nepal, Ambassador Meuwly aims to enhance cooperation in economic sector as well as cultural exchange with people-to-people connections, showcasing the rich cultural heritage that both countries have to offer.
Ambassador Meuwly holds a doctorate in economics and a degree in advanced European studies with extensive career in diplomacy and international affairs at Swiss Foreign Ministry, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), World Bank and the United Nations.
