Kathmandu: A total of 32 Nepali students have been successfully rescued from Sderot Neve in Israel. A total of 11 Nepali students who were trapped inside a bunker were also rescued by a team of Israeli Army.

Posting a video on Facebook, Nepali student Lujis Rijal said Nepali students had been inside the bunker since Saturday morning at 7 o’clock. The Army is conducting a rescue operation, according to Rijal.

“We were escorted to safety by the Israeli army rescue team. Currently, we are all secure inside a shelter with ample supplies. Some of our friends have already been evacuated, and we are awaiting the remaining evacuations,” Rijal said.

Ten Nepali students were killed while four others were injured in armed attacks by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel on Saturday.
