Kathmandu: Three individuals lost their lives on the spot, while five others sustained injuries in a mini-truck accident in Aamachhodingmo Rural Municipality-2 of Rasuwa district on Monday evening.
According to police, the mini-truck, which was loaded with potatoes, veered off the road and plunged 200 meters off the road, resulting in casualties.
The deceased are identified as 32-year-old Akkal Bahadur Tamang, 30-year-old Furpu Chevam Tamang, and 39-year-old Pemwadolma Tamang. Likewise, five other individuals were injured in the accident.
One of them, who had sustained severe injuries, was admitted to the district hospital in Rasuwa, while the other four received basic medical treatment before returning home, according to police.
