Third Belt and Road Forum: Nepali delegation to meet with Chinese ministers

Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a keynote speech at the event participated in by representatives from more than 140 countries and over 30 international organizations.

Kathmandu: Nepali delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who reached Beijing on Monday to attend the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation at the invitation of Chinese Minister of Ecology and Environment, Wang Xiaohong, is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Chinese ministers, press release issued by Nepali embassy in Beijing said.

DPM Shrestha will address the High-level forum on Green Development “Green Silk Road for Harmony with Nature” at National Convention Center tomorrow. He is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Chinese Minister of Emergency Management, Wang Xiangsi; and Member of the Secretariat of Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Xiaohong, during his stay in Beijing. DPM Shrestha is also scheduled to meet Chinese Minister of International Department, Liu Jianchao.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony and deliver a keynote speech. Representatives from more than 140 countries and over 30 international organizations are expected to participate in the third Belt and Road Forum.
