BRI instrumental for Nepal’s economic development, former PM Khanal says

Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) senior leader and chief of the party’s International Department Jhalanath Khanal has said that China proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was crucial for deepening mutual cooperation among peoples of different countries and ensure economic development.

Addressing the international conference organized by the Belt and Road Foundation in Beijing of China on Thursday, Khanal added that the BRI is equally important for an equitable, prosperous and progressive world system.

Khanal viewed that China has revitalized the dream of common future, humanity and inclusive development through BRI.
