Palpa: Six people died and one sustained injuries as a jeep heading to Rani Mahal from Tansen skidded off the road and plunged 70 meters into Barangdi river in Palpa district on Sunday.
According to Palpa Police, the six passengers died on the spot, while the jeep driver was injured.
The jeep plunged into a narrow gorge and rescuers are facing a tough time, said police. The incident site is 1.5 km far from Rani Mahal.
