Vehicle carrying CPN-UML leaders meets with accident in Kavre

Kathmandu: A vehicle carrying CPN-UML leaders met with an accident in Kavre district on Sunday. 

The CPN-UML central committee members, along with former parliamentarians, including leader Nabina Lama, were involved in a car accident at Bethanchowk-1, after the vehicle they were traveling in overturned.

The car, which was en route from TalDhunga, lost control due to brake failure in Guwa Bhanjyang, resulting in it flipping over on the road, causing minor injuries to Bagmati Pradesh Committee Deputy Secretary Bhakta Kumari Lama, Ram Hari Subedi, and other leaders.

The car skidded off the road due to an abrupt swerve caused by a sudden incline. The leaders had reached Bethanchowk as part of their party activities. The injured are rescued via an ambulance. 

The car, which experienced brake failure on the slope, overturned and hit the ground. Seven injured individuals were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
