Kathmandu: Four individuals died in a tractor accident in Bajura on Sunday.
According to Bajura Police, the incident occurred when a tractor tried to overtake another tractor heading in the same direction at Khadigad in Badimalika-2.
“One tractor fell off the road into a river, while the other hit a roadside cliff,” said DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara.
The deceased have been identified as Devraj Joshi, 38 and Karishma Rokaya of Badimalika-2, Chandra Dani of Badimalika-1, and tractor driver Hikmat Rokaya (30) of Gaumul-6. All four were on the tractor that fell into the river.
Both tractors were carrying four passengers each, including the drivers.
