Two pedestrians killed in road accident in Pokhara

Kathmandu: Two pedestrians lost their lives when a car struck them at Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 in the Kaski district on Tuesday. 

According to Kaski Police, the incident occurred in front of Siddhartha Bank at 1 am. The car, with registration Ba 13 Cha 3721, was traveling from Baglung Bus Park to Zero Kimi when it hit Dhalendra Chantyal, 20, of Baglung, and a 35-year-old male whose identity has yet to be determined, according to police.

Both pedestrians sustained serious injuries in the collision and succumbed to their injuries during the course of treatment, said police. Police have already taken possession of the vehicle, but the driver has fled the scene and is currently at large.
