AIDIA signs MoU with India’s Vivekananda International Foundation

Kathmandu: Vice President of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Founder of AIDIA, Sunil KC, and Director of VIF Dr Arvind Gupta signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 3, 2024 in New Delhi.

The signed official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishes a robust framework for collaboration with a primary focus on enhancing cooperation in the field of Diplomacy (including economic diplomacy) and International Relations. This strategic partnership is poised to fortify the relationship between the two organizations and foster joint initiatives in addressing global challenges in the domain of Economy, Diplomacy and International Relations. This partnership reflects the shared vision of both institutions to play a substantial role in enhancing the diplomatic relations between Nepal and India.

The VIF, founded by Ajit Doval who is currently the National Security Advisor to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is an independent and non-partisan think tank based in New Delhi. It is dedicated to fostering high-quality research, comprehensive studies, and serving as a platform for constructive dialogue and conflict resolution. The VIF was established in December 2009.

The AIDIA is Kathmandu based independent, non-partisan, foreign policy think-tank founded in March 2014. It conducts research and analysis on domestic and international issues, and offers a platform for dialogue debate and discussion in the Economy, Diplomacy and International Relations.
