Kathmandu: President of Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association Achyut Khanal has been felicitated with “Agleshwari Hills Jibanta Rashtriya Samajsewa Samman-2024”.
The award was given for his continued contribution to social work and philanthropy, according to Agleshwari Hills Development Fund, the organizer of the award.
The organization has decided to acknowledge Khanal’s contribution to the field of social work. For the last 15 years, Khanal has been providing support to people in need, especially orphanage children.
Amid a program organized to felicitate him, State Minister for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation Sushila Shreepali, Sijam Sinjali, chair of the fund, and Kumar Karki, chair of Ramechhap Cultural Artists Society jointly handed over a letter of appreciation to Khanal.
I take the award as a reminder to myself for more philanthropic activities in the days to come, Khanal said after receiving the award.
