Kathmandu: A bus with the registration number Ba 3912, traveling from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu, met with an accident on Friday night as it plunged into the Rapti River near Pulbazar in Bhaluwang, Dang. The accident killed five individuals, while 25 others sustained injuries.
According to Ujjwal Bahadur Singh, Inspector at the Bhaluwang Police Office, the bus, which had departed from Nepalgunj, veered off the road and plunged into Rapti River around 10 PM. “Five individuals have lost their lives at the accident site, and we have successfully rescued 25 injured individuals” Inspector Singh informed Nepal Live.
