Two Bhutanese die in jeep accident in Sindhupalchowk

Kathmandu: Two Bhutanese citizens lost their lives in an accident that occurred at Ward No. 1 of Helambu Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk on Wednesday. The accident also resulted in injuries to five individuals.

According to Nimagyalken Sherpa, the chair of Helambu Rural Municipality, among the injured, four were Bhutanese citizens, while one was a Nepali national. The Nepali victim was identified as the driver of the jeep involved in the accident. The deceased were identified as a 33-year-old and a 71-year-old from Bhutan.

The tourists from Bhutan were traveling in a Bolero with the registration number BA 24450 when the accident occurred. Chairman Sherpa informed that the injured Nepali driver was airlifted to Kathmandu for medical treatment.
