Police arrest CG Holdings chair Arun Chaudhary

Kathmandu: A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested businessman CG Holdings Chair Arun Chaudhary and Ajit Narayan Singh Thapa, the Chairman of the then Bansbari Leather Shoes Factory Ltd. 

Chaudhary was held from Lainchaur and Thapa from Battisputali of Kathmandu today, said CIB spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari. 

“Businessman Arun Chaudhary and then Chair Thapa have been arrested. Further information on this would be made public later,” he added. The Bureau said they have been arrested in connection with the misappropriation of the 10 ropani land property of Bansbari Leather and Shoes Factory.
