Malekhu: A person died after sustaining injuries while cutting wood with an electric saw in Dhading district on Saturday.
The 38-year-old man, Raj Kumar Shrestha, from Sanghutar of Nilkantha municipality-8, suffered severe injuries to his body while using the electric saw in the Amarawati community forest.
The mishandled electric saw flipped and struck him, causing deep cuts in his body, ultimately resulting in his death. He was taken to District Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful, according to eyewitnesses.
Deputy Superintendent of Police in the district, Santulal Prasad Jaiswar, stated that Shrestha suffered severe injuries to his chest and stomach. Investigation into the incident is underway, he added.
