Kathmandu: At least eight people died, while 14 were injured as a jeep met with an accident at Tinahu Rural Municipality-6 in Palpa district on Tuesday.
The ill-fated jeep en route to Chidis Shikhar Danda from Dumre met with the accident, according to Sugandha Shrestha, inspector at the Palpa District Police Office.
The injured are rushed to Lumbini Medical College for treatment.
According to police, the identity of the deceased and injured is yet to be ascertained.
