Uniglobe students bag gold, silver and bronze medals in national economics Olympiad

Kathmandu: Dikshya Khiuju, a grade 12 student from management stream at Uniglobe Secondary School and College, won gold medal in the fifth national economics Olympiad held in Kathmandu on Monday. She won the gold medal in Business Case Analysis category as well as overall category. She will participate in International Economics Olympiad to be held in Hong Kong in July this year.

“This is a matter of pride for Uniglobe. We hope she will perform equally well in the international Olympiad as well,” said Suraj Kumar Thapa, Associate Program Coordinator at Uniglobe School and College. “Dikshya is a persevering and hardworking student. We trust she will shine the name of our college in Hong Kong as well.  We are equally delighted with other students who won medals in other categories.”

Uniglobe’s Pratigya Phuyal won gold medal in Business Case Analysis category. Samikshya Regmi and Yash Kumar Sah won silver medal in Business Case Analysis category as well as overall category, while Sagun Tiwari won bronze medal in Business Case Analysis category.
