Kathmandu: Three people died in a gas cylinder explosion at a workshop in Sahid Chowk in Nijgadh on Monday.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Rakesh Jaiswal, 20-year-old Ritu Rajat, and 45-year-old Resham Pulami. Jaiswal and Rajat, who were seriously injured in the incident, died in the course of treatment at Vayodha Hospital in Birgunj on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred as a gas cylinder exploded in the course of wielding.
Police said the investigation in the incident is underway.
