Kathmandu: Nepal and the Netherlands are set to battle it out in the final showdown after a rain-interrupted match between the Netherlands and Namibia on Sunday at TU International Ground in Kirtipur.
The encounter, crucial for determining the finalists, saw both teams awarded a point each as rain halted play during the 15th over of the Tri-Nation T20I Series.
With this outcome, the Netherlands has secured the top spot in the points table with five points, closely trailed by Nepal with four points.
The match, which started with Namibia opting to bat first after losing the toss, witnessed the team posting a total of 98 runs, losing four wickets by the 15th over mark before the rain interrupted the game.
