Six Chinese injured in tourist bus crash

Kathmandu: A tourist bus carrying 26 passengers from Pokhara to Kathmandu met with an accident on Saturday morning along the Prithvi highway at Sheratar, Myagdi Rural Municipality-6 in Tanahun, leaving six Chinese nationals injured. 

According to the Tanahun Police, six Chinese nationals were among those injured in the mishap. Identified as Chucheng (68), Sao Meng (67), Sun Li (50), Leo Ya Qing (70), Wang Yidong (62), and Huqiao Li (57), these individuals are currently undergoing treatment at the GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Center in Belchautara.

DSP Mohan Bahadur Khan, spokesperson for the Tanahun district police, said that the driver of the bus has been arrested, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
