Paudel found guilty by Special Court

Kathmandu: On Friday, the Special Court found Sunil Paudel guilty and acquitted the other eight in the National Payment Gateway case.

The double bench of Teknarayan Kuwar, chairman of the special court, and member Murari Babu Shrestha made the verdict after finding Paudel guilty.

According to the special court, Paudel has been found guilty by the special court, and on May 8, the final hearing will be conducted, which will decide the punishment for him.

Paudel was the deputy director of the then-National Information Technology Center. Also, he was last working as the managing director of Nepal Telecom.

The Special Court has stated that Paudel misused around Rs 232.7 million from the government.
