Kathmndu: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane made an announcement to facilitate the women serving in the traffic police on the occasion of Republic Day.

Writing a status on social media, Lamichhane said that from now on, no menstruating traffic police women do not have to come on road duty for four days.

Instead of menstruating traffic police women, those who violate traffic rules, including drunk driving, will help with traffic management on the road as volunteers.
