Gandaki Province assembly meeting postponed indefinitely

Kathmandu: Gandaki Province assembly meeting has been postponed indefinitely before voting on a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung.

In the first meeting on Wednesday, province assembly members discussed the motion.

A vote on the motion was scheduled in the second meeting following a response by CM Gurung.

Speaker postponed the meeting after Rastriya Janmorcha Chief Whip Piryari Thapa informed Speaker of the absence of lawmaker Khim Bikram Shahi.
