Kathmandu: Minister for Water Supply Mani Thapa has contracted coronavirus.
According to Person Secretary to Minster Thapa, Rajendra Gautam, Minister Thapa’s swab was collected on Thursday evening and the report came positive today.
Minster Thapa has isolated himself and has a slight fever along with complaints of headache and nausea.
Minister Thapa is the second Cabinet Minister to test positive for the pandemic this year. Earlier, Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi was diagnosed positive.
