Kathmandu: The Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited has suspended the issuance of the Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The IPO, which was offered for the locals from Tuesday, has been suspended due to an ‘uncomfortable situation’, the company and issue manager Global IME Capital said in a statement on Thursday.

The company had offered 1.8 million units for the permanent residents of Sindhupalchowk district and 4.2 million units for residents at the project site.
