Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to fail the vote of confidence motion by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.

A meeting of NC’s Parliamentary Party held at the New Baneshwor-based International Convention Center on Saturday endorsed the earlier decision by the office bearers’ meeting to thwart the motion.

The meeting decided to vote against the vote of confidence motion by the Prime Minister in the House of Representatives, said NC Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand.

Similarly, the party has urged all the parties representing the lower house to vote against the motion, he said.
