Kathmandu: Zonta Club of Kathmandu has donated 4 Oxygen Concentrators to the Paropkar Maternity and Women’s Hospital (Prasuti Griha). The oxygen concentrators were handed over to Dr Subedi, Head Covid Wing In-charge at the hospital on May 14.
“With the mission of working towards the betterment of women and children, we hope that this support helps those in need,” said Seema Golchha, President of Zonta Club of Kathmandu.
“The recent surge in COVID cases has resulted in a shortage of oxygen in hospitals across the country. This situation has been particularly grave for pregnant and recent mothers who are infected with COVID,” says a statement from Zonta Club.
