Shanker Group and Infinity Holding provide health materials worth over Rs 30 million

Kathmandu: Shanker Group and Infinity Holding Pvt Ltd jointly provided health support materials worth amounting to Rs 30 million.

The two business groups aided the health equipment and emergency support materials to the health workers serving different hospitals of the country with Nepal entering into the second wave of coronavirus pandemic.

The groups provided support to the Bir Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital, Rupandehi Province Hospital, and Seti Province Hospital.

Shanker Group Chair Shanker Lal Agrawal said the health equipment and materials were supported to enable the state’s efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The group has also stepped up its preparation to set up a highly equipped and multi-beneficial oxygen plant at Seti Province Hospital.

The groups provided support to the Bir Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital, Rupandehi Province Hospital, and Seti Province Hospital.

As informed the oxygen plant of Nova Air Medical Company to be imported from France will generate daily 700 liters ‘high flow’ oxygen. It will be adequate for 45 beds.

Both the groups have handed over a set of a mattress, bed sheet, pillow and pillow cover necessary for 50 beds of Bir Hospital based in Kathmandu. Likewise, the groups handed over the necessary materials required for 100 beds of the hospitals of Sudurpaschim Province.
