Kathmandu: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav-Baburam Bhattarai faction has asked another Chairman Mahanta Thakur to furnish clarification on why action shouldn’t be taken against him for defying the party’s statute.
The faction sought a 72-hour clarification from Thakur as per the decision of the executive committee meeting held on Saturday.
The letter has asked why the undemocratic, unconstitutional, and regressive move of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli to dissolve the parliament was supported against the party’s decision and policy.
Similarly, it has been asked why a letter was sent a letter to Parliament Secretariat mentioning the appointment of Rajendra Mahato as Parliamentary Party leader.
