Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population stated that its attention has been drawn towards an attack on doctors and nurses at Bheri Hospital.
In a statement on Friday, Joint Spokesperson Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari requested the concerned authorities to take stringent action against the assaulters as per existing laws.
The Ministry of Health further said that it was shameful that health workers delivering their duties amidst the pandemic were attacked and appealed to all to create an environment for health workers to fulfill their professional duties with high morale.
Doctors and nurses at the hospital were assaulted by family members of a deceased on Thursday.
