Kathmandu: The government has decided to conduct the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) through internal evaluation. A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Monday evening decided to that end.

SEE results were published based on internal evaluation last year too.

Minister for Forest and Environment Prem Ale Magar said the Cabinet agreed to the proposal forwarded by Minister for Education Krishna Gopal Shrestha to conduct the exams through internal evaluation owing to the coronavirus risk.

Earlier, the National Examinations Board had postponed SEE and Grade 12 examinations indefinitely due to the Covid-19 crisis.
