Joy Foundation Nepal assists distribution of 100 oxygen concentrators

Kathmandu: Joy Foundation Nepal is assisting the distribution of 100 oxygen concentrators to different hospitals.

The concentrators were donated by Milarepa Meditation Center, Sankhu on behalf of Taiwan LJM Charitable Foundation/Taiwan LJM Buddhist Society, Taiwan to support different government hospitals and local government health service providers.

President of Joy Foundation Nepal Raju Shrestha that the concentrators will be distributed to different government hospitals and health posts of remote areas.

This will help mitigate the hassle of for searching an oxygen supply and save the lives of as many people as possible, said Shrestha.

“Hospitals and health posts in remote areas have been struggling to meet the demand for oxygen supply and people have to stay on queue to get oxygen cylinders. This aid to some extent will help the service providers at the remote areas,” said Shrestha.

He further expressed his sincere gratitude to Milarepa Meditation Center, Sankhu for their continued support for Nepalis to fight against Covid 19.

Oxygen concentrators will be donated to different local bodies, hospitals, and health posts in Nuwakot, Syangja, Myagdi, Gorkha, Solukhumbu, Manang, Kaski, and Bardiya among others.
