Kathmandu: The Constitutional Bench chaired by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR has resumed hearing writs against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

The hearing slated for Monday was adjourned for today after CJ Rana turned unwell.

CJ Rana on Sunday had reconstituted the Constitutional Bench on the basis of seniority including Justices Deepak Kumar Karki, Mira Khadka, Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada, and Ananda Mohan Bhattarai. The hearing was affected on Sunday after government attorneys demanded that Karki and Bhattarai should recuse themselves from the bench.

The same bench has been given continuity today as well.
