Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 85.7 percent after 5,293 patients recover in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 5,293 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 515,591 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 85.7 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,749 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. With this, the number of the Covid-19 caseload has reached 601,687.

The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 15,238 tests including 9,901 RT-PCR and 5,337 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 59 peoples died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 8,238.

The total number of active cases stands at 77,858. There are 10,527 active cases in Kathmandu, 3,091 in Bhaktapur, and 4,173 in Lalitpur.

A total of 6,543 got recovered on May 20; 7,890 on May 21; 8,848 on May 22; 7,644 on May 23; 7,135 on May 24; 6,404 on May 25; 6,716 on May 26, 7,226 on May 27; 9,841 on May 28 and 6,080 on May 29.

Likewise, 6,205 people recovered from the pandemic on May 30; 6,491 on May 31; 6,898 on June 1; 7,219 on June 2, 5,904 on June 3; 8,663 on June 4; 8,243 on June 5; 6,636 on June 6; 6,951 on June 7; 6,570 recovered on June 8, 5,768 on June 9 and 5,293 on June 10.
