UNDP provides 400 oxygen concentrators to Nepal

Kathmandu: UNDP on Friday handed over medical equipment and supplies to Nepal including 400 oxygen concentrators. UNDP provided 200 biomedical oxygen concentrators of five liters capacity and 200 concentrators of ten liters capacity.

Ayshanie Medagangoda-Labé, Resident Representative to the UNDP, Nepal handed over the equipment to officials of the Ministry of Health and Population.


These medical items will be distributed to all seven Provincial authorities soon, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The government sincerely appreciates and thanks the UNDP Nepal for its valuable support of critical medical items at a time Nepal is fighting against the second wave of the pandemic, Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
