Kathmandu: A total of 2,476 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Friday.
The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 14,351 tests including 9,586 RT-PCR and 4,765 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, during the period 5,455 people recovered from the pandemic taking the total number of recoveries to 576,413. The recovery rate is 91.3 percent, according to the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, 27 people died of Covid-19 in the same period. With the fatalities, the death toll has reached 8,495.
Nepal recorded 1,560 deaths in 25 days. A total of 69 people died on June 1, 101 on June 2, 75 on June 3, 101 on June 4, 68 on June 5, 99 on June 6, 92 on June 7, 108 on June 8, 81 on June 9, 59 on June 10, 67 on June 11, 61 on June 12, 46 on June 13, 53 June 14, 41 on June 15 and 52 on June 16, 39 on June 17, 44 on June 18, 34 on June 19, 51 on June 20, 46 on June 21 and 41 on June 22, 81 on June 23, 24 on June 24 and 27 on June 25.
