Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went slightly up by 5.11 points to close at 2,875.49 points on Monday.
The Sensitive Index also increased by 4.17 points and reached 533.57 points.
However, the stock market did not witness an excitement in turnover amount. It recorded a total turnover of Rs 7.72 billion with 19,282,815 shares of 219 scrips traded today.
Among the sub-indices, the microfinance sub-index recorded the highest increment of 111.4 points.
