Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate reaches 94 percent; 2,299 new cases and 34 deaths reported

Kathmandu: A total of 3,451 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 603,600 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 94 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,299 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 10,596 tests including 6,566 RT-PCR and 4,030 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 34 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,179.

The total number of active cases stands at 29,274.

A total of 3,660 patients recovered on June 19; 3,456 on June 20; 3,130 on June 21; 4,154 on June 22; 3,558 on June 23; 2,518 on June 24; 5,455 on June 25; 4,914 on June 26; 3,007 on June 27; 3,853 on June 28; 4,348 on June 29; 3,597 on June 30; 4,016 on July 1 and 3,451 on July 2.
