Kathmandu Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda, has expressed the belief that the House of Representatives would be reinstated.

Prachanda, who arrived at Janakpurdham today to pay tribute to CPN (Maoist Center) central committee member, Mahadev Yadav, said that the Supreme Court would issue a mandamus to make Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister on the basis of signatures of 146 lawmakers submitted at the SC.

The HoR dissolution case is under consideration at SC. The next date of hearing the case has been fixed for July 12.

Chair Prachanda blamed the Prime Minister for exerting unnecessary pressure on the SC.

On a different note, he clarified that he is always in favor of the constitution amendment, confessing that the constitution has some lapses. He further said that Province no 2 should be named Madhesh province.
