Nepal records 2,398 fresh Covid-19 cases as 2,078 patients recover in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 2,398 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population stated on Tuesday.

A total of 11,012 tests including 7,058 RT-PCR tests and 3,954 antigen tests were done.

Likewise, altogether 2,078 Covid-19 patients got full recovery during the period. A total of 623,105 people have recovered from the pandemic so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, 12 people succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,412.

There are currently 26,261active cases.
